Women in STEM: Finding our Voices

Join us for Women in STEM: Finding Our Voices, a collaborative event by Bow Valley College and Women Owned Narratives. This empowering event is designed for women aspiring to enter or excel in STEM careers.

Discover, discuss, and strategize around three key themes:

• Finding Your Voice: Explore techniques to make your voice heard in male-dominated industries and how to build the confidence to speak up.
• Mentorship: Learn the significance of mentors in your STEM journey and how to establish valuable mentorship relationships.
• Positioning Yourself for Success: Gain insights into strategies for advancing your career and thriving in STEM fields.

The event kicks off with time for questions and answers with our special guest panelists, followed by three interactive discussion rounds in a World Café format. Finally, we’ll come together for a discussion where we share the valuable insights and patterns from the smaller group conversations.
