Do you want to connect with people who are passionate about the SDGs and sustainable, equitable transportation?
Join us for Together | Ensemble 2023 on June 8th to learn about cutting-edge transportation research from U of A researchers, see what municipalities are doing to prioritize mobility in urban space, and hear how non-profits and politicians are doing their part to make cities more people-friendly!
In particular, you’ll hear from:
- Edmonton City Councillor Michael Janz (ward papastew) – generating the political will to achieve active transportation goals
- Leah Ettarh, Executive Director, Alberta Council for Global Cooperation – identifying the past and future role of Albertans in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals
- Erin Felker, Transportation Planner, City of Calgary – following the RouteAhead plan to make transit a preferred method of transportation
- Mustafa Gül, Professor, UofA – creating sustainable and resilient cities using data collected by vehicles
- Pablo Orozco, Mobility Expert, City of Edmonton – planning and strategy behind helping Edmonton meet its aggressive mobility targets
- Stephen Raitz, Chair of Paths for People – zeroing in on tangible actions that neighbours can take together to advocate for a safer, more liveable and climate-resilient transportation system
