THRIVE Calgary showcases the resilient, innovative, and welcoming spirit that makes our city a destination for the change-makers of tomorrow to start, grow, and thrive. This year, the theme for the THRIVE Calgary conference is Calgary in the Emerging Economy.
The conference will explore the following topics:
- Mentorship – its value and role in creating better outcomes for internationally trained professionals, mentors and employers (including entrepreneurs).
- Job Readiness – Advocating and bridging the gap between internationally trained professionals and employment in Canada.
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging – the business case and best practices for creating inclusive workplaces.
- Licensing and Accreditation – Understanding the requirements and overcoming the barriers to entry into specific professions.
- The Future of Calgary’s Economy – How are different industries preparing for the influx of ITPs.
