KAIROS Indigenous Blanket Exercise

This event is hosted in Classroom 1 in the Platform Innovation Centre.

Join Rainforest Alberta, Calgary Innovation Coalition and Platform Calgary in this educational and enlightening exercise led by Pam Sparklingeyes.

​You will get to participate in an interactive exercise, focused on sharing some of the key historic events between the Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples of Canada. The facilitators will lead participants through a script of events that will cover topics like treaty-making, colonization, resistance, land rights, and residential schooling. This is an opportunity to better understand and appreciate the history within Canada, as we work towards reconciliation and healing.
