Canadian firms outperform American firms environmentally. Are there any financial benefits?
Dr. Yrjo Koskinen, BMO professor of sustainable and transition finance, will present his research on the financial benefits of good environmental performance on Canadian vs American firms. Dr. Koskinen will share findings on how good environmental performance increases profits, particularly valuations, for U.S. firms, but there is no financial impact for Canadian firms.
