Are you someone who loves to build things with data and wants to do good for the community? Then join us for our first in-person datathon since 2018 with Jumpstart Refugee Talent, hosted by Data for Good – Calgary.
We are thrilled that we will be working with Jumpstart Refugee Talent, who exclusively serves refugees seeking meaningful economic inclusion. Bring your data skills and get ready to dive into the datasets that will be made available to help answer questions that will help Jumpstart Refugee Talent improve their products and services.

Below is an outline of the schedule for the weekend with specific details included for each day.
Note: it’s fine to pop in and out as your schedule permits (but hope you can join the intro and team formation on Friday evening and participate in some of the work on Saturday morning)
May 5: 7 – 10pm – Opening Mixer & Get started with the data
May 6: 9am – 11pm – Dig in and analyze the data with your team
May 7: 9am – 2pm – Present your findings/outcomes
