This event will be held on the evening of March 8th, located at Platform Calgary, and will include snacks, drinks and two panels throughout the evening. Our first panel, ‘Vulnerability: a strength for men, a weakness for women?‘ will be hosted by the formidable Kylie Woods of Chic Geek. Our second panel of the evening will lean into this years IWD theme of #EmbraceEquity and will be titled ‘Male Allyship – Friend or Foe?” hosted by Toast co-founder April Hicke. All proceeds from ticket sales will go towards the Making Changes Association, who provide free programs and empower women and teen girls of all ages, backgrounds, and stages in life. They provide resources, professional clothing, new skills, and support to support our clients pursue their careers, work aspirations, and education to make meaningful contributions to their community. They are passionate about helping women, those who identify as women, and teen girls overcome challenges to create their own paths.

This will be a great opportunity to meet with our local community members (Startups, Corporates, Investors, Mentors, and Toast team members). Enjoy an evening of good food and great conversations!
