This event is hosted in Classroom 2 in the Platform Innovation Centre.
Calling all entrepreneurs, innovators, founders, start-up employees, capacity builders, and those simply interested in the innovation space!
For the innovation space to thrive, we need to create successful and resilient businesses. For many companies, especially start-ups, their most valuable asset is the group of individuals working to make them grow. But how are we looking after that asset in a hustle-and-grind culture? In a space that challenges and asks a lot of its resources, how do you support your team and—perhaps more importantly—yourself to increase capacity and build personal resilience?
Collectively Tangled provides mental health services, education, and consulting to the innovation sector. We’re hosting a facilitated community conversation on mental health in innovation as a part of this year’s Innovation Week.
We’ll talk about what mental health in innovation looks like, some of the challenges and barriers folks experience, why we aren’t talking about it more often and more effectively, and what the path forward might look like. By initiating dialogue, we can start to shift the narrative around what it means to be a successful entrepreneur or a successful employee in this space.
So, let’s get talking.
Location: Platform Calgary Innovation Centre, Classroom 2
