Meet two Alberta-based Opportunity Development Cooperatives (ODCs) making investing at $1000 or $5000 easy for Albertans. Combined these ODCs have raised over $2 million for investment in southern Alberta. Learn about the projects and businesses they invest in, impact criteria, and how to get involved as an investor or to receive investment.
Local Investing YYC and Bow Valley Green Energy Cooperative will each give short presentations about their respective impact investing models followed by highlights from current projects and investee businesses. One of those businesses, Included by Design, will also share about their innovation in accessibility solutions.
Following the presentations, there will be a panel discussion including questions from participants.
